Google have announced that it is ending support for its Nik Collection for photo editing software.

Google have announced that they are to end support for their photo editing software Nik Collection, this means that there will be no further updates or development for this software.

The Nik Software suite was acquired by Google in 2012, and shortly afterwards the price of the software dropped to around $149 from $475 – $500.  Then last year Google decided to make the software free to download.  With this final version being compatible with Windows Vista, 7, 8; Mac OS X 10.7 through 10.10; and with Adobe Photoshop through to CC2015.
